For a lot of privacy, attach the window foil over the whole surface. If you want as much light as possible in the room, narrower strips are sufficient – up to the height where you want to be protected from people’s gazes, e.g. in the kitchen, bathroom, baby room or bedroom – if your neighbors living opposite can look in directly.
