Transform your glass living room table into an absolute eye-catcher

Project from Chris -

The old glass table in the living room is still too good to be replaced? Our d-c-fix® static window films lend all glass or mirror surfaces a new luster. We’re going to show you how you can apply the static window film quite easily.

You will need…

  • A roll of d-c-fix® Static Window Ally
  • A d-c-fix® application kit containing a smoother and a cutting knife
  • A spray bottle containing water

  • Scissors
  • A tape measure
  • A pencil

Let’s go!

Project description for a unique glass living room table

Step 1

Clean the surface thoroughly and measure the area of application.

Step 2

Transfer the dimensions onto the backing paper of the static window film.

Step 3

Cut the film to size with a pair of scissors.

Step 4

Remove a little bit of the window film backing paper.

Step 5

Spray the entire glass surface with sufficient water.

Step 6

Attach the static adhesive film at the edge and align it with the table.

Step 7

Remove the excess water under the film with the smoother, smoothing from the center outwards.

Step 8

Cut along the edges with a cutting knife to remove any overhang.

You’re done!
