Project description for your IKEA chest of drawers with golden accents
- One roll of d-c-fix® Metallic Gold
- d-c-fix® application kit with smoothing blade and cutter knife
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Tape measure
Let’s go
Step 1
Clean the chest of drawers with a cloth to remove any residues and so it can better handle the adhesive film.
Step 2
Measure the bars between the drawers which are to be bonded, then cut out the corresponding pieces of film.
Step 3
Peel off part of the backing paper of the plain decorative film and apply it along the edge of the chest of drawers.
Step 4
Peel off a little more of the backing paper and use the smoothing blade to avoid potential air bubbles. You can cut off any excess film using the cutter knife.
