But you’re not at all happy about the fact that your neighbor keeps peering in at you? Then simply block out the prying glances and beautify your windows at the same time! With the d-c-fix® window films, for example in the “Lisboa” design, this can be done particularly elegantly and easily, as the window film adheres statically. This means that you don’t need any adhesive. You can protect your privacy super quickly and easily. Try it out!

- d-c-fix® application kit with squeegee and utility knife
- d-c-fix® application fluid or spray bottle with water

Step-by-step guide for your DIY
Preparation
You have everything you need? Then get started!
Step 1
Clean the windows thoroughly and measure them with a folding ruler.
Step 2
Transfer the dimensions to the backing paper of the window film and cut along a ruler using the utility knife.
Step 3
Spray the window with sufficient installation fluid or water.
Step 4
Remove the backing film from the window film.
Step 5
Apply the window film onto the window in the desired position.
Step 6
Smooth down the window film on the window piece by piece with the squeegee so that any water under the film escapes to the sides.
Step 7
Wipe the window dry with a cloth.

EXPERT ADVICE
Small air pockets can form, especially when covering larger surfaces – such as the top and side surfaces here. You can puncture these bubbles with a fine needle and then carefully smooth them out with the squeegee.
