The new eye-catching styling is provided by the d-c-fix® adhesive foils Uni Lack mint and Ribbeck Oak in a modern wood look. To ensure that everything is transported safely and quietly in the rolling butler, simply use the d-c-fix® Function Prime anti-slip mat. Here is the tutorial for serving trolley makeover:
You have everything you need? Then get started!
Clean the surfaces of the serving trolley to be covered.
Take the yard stick and determine the dimensions of the outer surfaces of the serving trolley to be covered. Transfer the dimensions to the grid paper of the adhesive foil Uni Lack mint or Ribbeck Oak.
Cut the pieces of adhesive foil to size – then with the help of the doctor blade, apply them to the outside of the storage baskets.
Now carefully cut away the protruding foil edges with the utility knife.
Then measure the shelf surface of the lowest tier – and mark these dimensions on the d-c-fix® Function Prime anti-slip underlay by making small incisions along the edges. Cut the underlay to size.
Insert the anti-slip mat cut-out into the lowest tier of the serving trolley.
Small air pockets can form, especially when covering larger surfaces – such as the top and side surfaces here. You can puncture these bubbles with a fine needle and then carefully smooth them out with the squeegee.
