Window with d-c-fix® transparent Onadi window film covered in an ornamental pattern for privacy protection.

DIY privacy: Onadi blocks prying eyes!

Project from Chris -

It’s particularly uncomfortable in this season as the days grow darker: your home is brightly lit while it’s pitch-black outdoors – from outside, you can see everything inside. It’s almost like an invitation to neighbors, other tenants, or passersby to gaze inside through your windows. What can be done about it?

If you don’t like curtains, blinds, or roller blinds, we have a great idea for you: With the d-c-fix® transparent Onadi window film, you can easily add effective privacy protection to all windows and glass surfaces that you want to be peep-proof. And with its soft appearance and all-over pattern in a continuous ornamental design, Onadi really adds an impressive touch.

In short: It looks great ‒ and stops uninvited glances into your home. Get the Onadi privacy film and create the sphere of privacy that you want!

You will need…

  • d-c-fix® transparent Onadi
  • Pencil
  • Measuring tape

  • Utility knife
  • Squeegee

Let’s go

Step 1

To prepare the DIY privacy screen, thoroughly clean the glass surfaces of the windows so that no dirt particles become trapped under the film when it being applied.

Step 2

Measure all the window surfaces on which Onadi is to be fitted.

Step 3

Then transfer the dimensions to the backing paper of the window film.

Step 4

Cut the film pieces to size with the utility knife.

Step 5

Remove the protective layer from the first piece of film and align the film on the window.

Step 6

Pressing the film down with your hand, firmly apply the squeegee to the film along the window surface, steadily advancing a hand’s breadth at a time.

You’re done!
