How to achieve privacy step by step:
Step 1
Tips for perfect preparation:
First, clean the window thoroughly with a commercial glass cleaner. Use a lint-free cloth for this to avoid unsightly ripples forming between the window glass and the privacy foil.
For this DIY project, room temperature (about. 20°C) is ideal because if the temperature is too warm or too cold, the window foil may warp.
Also, make sure that there is no direct sun on the window pane while carrying out the DIY project.
Step 2
Now pull off the backing film.
Step 3
Apply the foil to the edge of the window pane and spread it well with light pressure using the doctor blade.
Step 4
Now the film is securely attached to the window and offers privacy.
