Become a pirate in eight simple steps

You will need…

  • A roll of plain matte d-c-fix®, black
  • A roll of d-c-fix® high-gloss silver
  • A d-c-fix® application kit containing a smoother and a cutting knife
  • A cardboard box
  • Paper clips

  • Scissors
  • A stapler
  • Glue
  • A pencil

Let’s go

Step 1

Draw the shapes of the pirate hat on a large cardboard box. Also draw a black stripe (40×5 cm) that will be the band for the head as well as a hilt for the sword.

Step 2

Now cover the back with the black adhesive film and smooth over everything with the smoother.

Step 3

Cut out the shapes with scissors.

Step 4

Use the stapler to fix the band to the center of the lower end of the hat. Use the paper clips to adjust the size.

Step 5

Draw the shape of a sword on a large cardboard box.

Step 6

Now cover the back with the silver film and smooth over everything with the smoother.

Step 7

Cut out the shapes with scissors.

Step 8

Finally, glue the blade to the hilt and let everything dry well.
