DIY decor: These wall designs with a tile look will turn your wall into an art gallery!

Project from Eva -

The New Year is still young, full of energetic drive for new discoveries! There’s growing desire for change, doing things differently, innovative and fresh. And that goes for your home, too! Yet, you don’t have to start a complete renovation project to get some fresh vibes: Our new power decor also let’s you bring about positive change within your own four walls. More specifically, on the wall! This DIY wall design in a trendy look of classic ornamental tiles is a brilliant eye-catcher. And it’s really easy: With d-c-fix® Kopago, the adhesive decorative film with the exciting design, you can easily apply this chic tile pattern to wooden panels. And you can hang these self-made images on the wall in your living room, hallway, kitchen or home office in the combination of your choice. You’ll love the effect!

Quadratic, self-made, brilliant!

You will need…

  • d-c-fix® Kopago
  • Pencil
  • Square wooden panels

  • Boxcutter
  • Smoothing blade

Let’s go

Step 1

Measure your wooden panels. Then draw squares of the same shape on the backing paper of the adhesive film. Make sure that the film squares are slightly smaller than the wooden panels: This way, you’ll see the wooden edge later, and you’ll get the great contrast effect of tiles on wood.

Step 2

Cut the square shapes out of the film.

Step 3

Remove the backing paper of thefirst film square.

Step 4

Use the smoothing blade to press the adhesive film firmly onto the first wooden panel – then do the same pattern with all the other wood panels.

You’re done!
