Project description for your IKEA chest of drawers with a wood look

You will need…

  • One roll of d-c-fix® Ribbeck Oak
  • One roll of d-c-fix® Uni matt white
  • d-c-fix® application kit with smoothing blade and cutter knife

  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Tape measure

Let’s go

Step 1

Measure the front of the drawers and transfer the measurements of the table onto the backing paper of the adhesive film.

Step 2

Cut the adhesive film for the drawers and the plate using the scissors.

Step 3

Peel off part of the backing paper and apply the decorative wood-effect film to an edge.

Step 4

Press down the wood-effect film from the inside outwards using the smoothing blade.

Step 5

Mark out lines with a width of 1 cm onto the backing paper of the white adhesive film and cut these out using scissors.

Step 6

Attach the lines to the desired location and carefully smooth them down using the smoothing blade.

    I used on my counter top the adhesive was awful did not stick had a lots of bubbles I had to take some off and paint.and it was not cheap. Cost me. Sixty dollor.
    I am so upset iwould not give a 1 star
