Window with opaque window foil with white birds

Window DIY: When adorable birds provide privacy…

Project from Chris -

A beautiful nature scene: Adorable birds sitting on a branch and passing the time. A sight that brings joy. No, we’re not talking about looking out of your window at a tree in the garden or a park. This lively scene is set on the static adhesive privacy foil d-c-fix® static PREMIUM Filippa. It allows you to easily create attractive privacy screens for your windows. The Filippa window foil gives the term eye-catching a double meaning: It protects curious glances from the outside and turns window surfaces into an enjoyable eye-catcher for you inside your home. Get this practical highlight for your windows now!

You will need…

  • d-c-fix® static PREMIUM Filippa
  • Pencil
  • Measuring tape
  • Ruler

  • Utility knife
  • Smoothing blade
  • Spray bottle with water

Let’s go

Step 1

Take the tape measure and determine the dimensions of the window surface.

Step 2

Transfer the dimensions to the window foil and cut it to size using the utility knife.

Step 3

Now spray the window with plenty of water.

Step 4

Now remove the thin, transparent backing paper of the foil piece.

Step 5

Place the foil on the glass surface and firmly press it down.

Step 6

To finish, you can then use the smoothing blade to remove any excess water – and done!

You’re done!
