Vinyl decking membranes are typically formulated to be heat-resistant and capable of withstanding elevated temperatures of typical seasonal conditions. They are tested using elevated temperatures (heat load) and UV (sun) exposures. This membrane typically performs well in these tests with perhaps minor fade and stiffening over a long exposure time. However, extreme, and prolonged exposure to very high temperatures, such as triple-digit temperatures, can still have some impact on the performance of the product. 

 Overall performance can be prolonged by regular maintenance and cleaning of the vinyl decking membrane and can help prolong its lifespan. Keeping the surface clean and free from debris can prevent staining and potential damage.
