DIY: Kids’ room decorations in pastels
Project from Antonia - 0 CommentsIn our new DIY, we will show you how you can handcraft beautiful decorations for the kids’ room, using our adhesive films in pastel colours. With the simple designs, you can also have a great time together with the kids, making things by hand for the project.
Project description for a cloud in pastel colour
- One roll of whitewood
- One roll of gold
- d-c-fix® Handcrafting kit with smoothing blade and cutter knife
- Scissors
- Pencil
Let’s go
Step 1
Using the scissors, cut a large cloud shape out of the thick cardboard. Then cut a large bow out of the same cardboard, and attach it with the sticky tape on the reverse side of the cloud.
Step 2
Draw the outline of the bow on the reverse side of the adhesive film. The bow should be made a little smaller for each colour.
Step 3
Cut out the bows, peel off the backing paper and press the sticky films into place using the smoothing blade.
Step 4
Cut out the eyes and cheeks from the rest of the film and similarly press them on using your smoothing blade.
You’re done!
