Transform your desk into a designer piece in six steps
- A roll of d-c-fix® Nordic Elm
- A roll of d-c-fix® mirror-effect film
- A roll of plain matte d-c-fix®, white
- A d-c-fix® application kit containing a smoother and a cutting knife
- Scissors
- A tape measure
Let’s go
Step 1
Measure the top of the desk and the drawer fronts.
Step 2
Cut out the self-adhesive decorative films, not forgetting to include a little excess. The top of the desk will be covered with the wood-effect Nordic Elm film and the drawers with the mirror-effect film.
Step 3
Peel off the backing paper and attach the film to the edges.
Step 4
Use the smoother to smooth out the film, always from the middle toward the top, bottom and sides.
Step 5
When the top of the desk is completely covered, cut into the film at the corners and press down the sides using the smoother. Repeat the last three steps for the drawers.
Step 6
Cut out patterns from the white film to place on the mirror-effect film. Again, use the smoother to firmly press down this film.
