After all, this homemade table for the living room is just as good looking as it is practical as a shelf next to the sofa. And what’s more, the coffee table is also unique: The round table top gets a bright, modern Scandi chic wood look with the adhesive foil d-c-fix® Oak Santana lime. In short, the perfect combination for a DIY table that is pretty sure to become the new favorite piece in your home!

You will need…

  • d-c-fix® Oak Santana lime
  • d-c-fix® application kit with scraper & utility knife
  • Scissors
  • Pencil

  • Round wooden board
  • Tube
  • Mounting adhesive

Let’s go!

Start the tutorial for the new coffee table now:

Step 1

Now determine the dimensions of the round wooden board and transfer the values to the back of the adhesive foil with the addition of some overhang.

Step 2

Then cut the round piece of foil including the overhang.

Step 3

When applying the foil, make sure that it protrudes slightly all around the wooden board – and then smooth the adhesive foil on the wooden board with the scraper.

Step 4

Carefully cut off the protruding adhesive foil at the edge of the wooden board with the utility knife.

Step 5

Apply the foil to the pipe and fix it to the wooden panel using the mounting adhesive.
