For this, you have a cell phone cover that protects your phone and should also look good. Our d-c-fix® DIY gives distressed cell phone covers a modern, chic look easily and without breaking the bank. All you need to upcycle your cover are a roll of d-c-fix® Marmi adhesive foil in a fashionable, amazingly realistic marble look, and your creativity.
The great thing about this upcycling is the elegance of marble for your cell phone cover in three different looks. Marble in white, gray or black: What is your favorite for cell phones?
Do it with marble!
- A roll of d-c-fix® Marmi white, black or gray
- d-c-fix® application kit with doctor blade and cutter
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Cell phone cover
Let’s go
Step 1
Place the cell phone cover that you want to apply Marmi adhesive foil to on the backing paper of the foil and transfer its outline with pencil.
Step 2
Then cut out the pieces of foil.
Step 3
Now remove the backing paper of the adhesive foil, place the piece of foil on the cell phone cover and smooth it with your hand – then use the doctor blade to press lightly for a second time.
Step 4
To finish, carefully cut around the opening for the cell phone camera with the cutting knife – the cell phone cover is finished in a fashionable marble look!
