Then get busy sticking…

- One d-c-fix® tool kit with smoother and cutter knife
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Measuring tape
Let’s go
Step 1
Start off by accurately measuring all sides of your bed’s headboard.
Step 2
Then cut the d-c-fix® adhesive film to match the dimensions.
Step 3
Next, remove the backing paper from the piece of film for the front of the headboard and position the film along the top edge…
Step 4
… gradually smooth out the decorative film by running the smoother firmly over the surface of the headboard and work your way across the entire area.
Step 5
To finish the front, remove any protruding adhesive film along the edges using the cutter knife – to do so, hold the cutter knife at an angle to the edges to ensure a perfectly precise cut.

EXPERT ADVICE
When applying film to larger surfaces, small air bubbles may sometimes form – to remove these, you can carefully pierce them using a fine needle and then press out the air trapped inside using the smoother.
